Perimeter Pet Palls provide pet therapy with person-animal teams who have taken training on how to safely visit the elderly, children, and people with special needs. Our volunteers visit nursing homes, schools, and other places in order to brighten people’s day with animals. If you are like most animal lovers, you would probably enjoy a variety of dogs, cats, and/or other domestic pets visiting you in your own environment.
Our pets will:
- Stay in the security of leashes with their owners
- Follow customary standards for providing fun and relaxed visits
- Provide superior loving, kindness, and special attention to each person
“Ever since I was a little girl growing up, my family always had a variety of pets. We had cats, dogs, turtles, fish, gerbils, bunnies, and horses. I learned responsibility and respect at a young age for loving animals unconditionally. Pets add so much to our lives and should be cared for in a special way. I always wanted to find others with a similar vision to help spread the joy which pets can bring to anyone’s life.” – Christine Cantilena Barnes, Lead Pet Evaluator
